Christina Aguilera Thinks She Was 'Too Thin,' Now Loves Showing Cleavage

Christina Aguileras changing body is not as big of a concern than it is to her tough critics.

As the October cover girl for Lucky, The Voice mentor speaks about her curvaceous body, revealing to the magazine that she happily displays her figure in skintight get-ups.

"The challenge I've always had is being too thin, so I love that now I have a booty," Aguilera, 31, says. "And, obviously, I love showing my cleavage."

Even though the Grammy-winning songbirds curvy look has been the favorite topic since Jessica Simpsons mom jeans catastrophe, Aguilera isnt listening to any of the harsh criticism.

"Hey, if you can work it and you can own it, that confidence is going to shine through," the Moves Like Jagger singer explains.

But the mother-of-one wasnt always so comfortable in her own skin, because as her singing career was launching, Aguilera shad a hard time having her own voice be heard.

"When you're young, it's so easy to get bulldozed," she says. "There were these two ladies who worked at the record label who always wanted to come to fittings and dress me up like a Barbie doll. It was disgusting."

The divorcee has been dating Matthew Rutler since 2010 after meeting on the set of Moulin Rogue and is very excited to give her fans new music.

"If you love Fighter, you're going to love my new album," she tells magazine. "As a 31-year-old woman, I've been uncovering my independence, and it's been really fun to explore in the new songs."

Aguilera is set to perform her new single You Body on NBC's The Voice on Sept. 17.
