Christina Aguilera Loves 'Your Body' in New Single: Listen
Christina Aguilera has previewed forthcoming fifth album "Lotus" with "Your Body," a sweaty, uptempo lead single produced by Max Martin and Shellback. The new tune premiered on Friday (Sept. 21) on Ryan Seacrest's syndicated radio show, four days after the season three premiere of "The Voice."
Synthesizers are stacked upon stuttering drums as Aguilera gets right to business with her latest male victim: "Don't even tell me your name/All I need to know is whose place/And let's get walking," she coos in the bridge. While not as sexually demonstrative as, say, "Dirrty," "Your Body" is a new suggestive anthem for a self-proclaimed "freak" that contains the liberated line, "We're moving faster than slow/If you don't know where to go, I'll finish off on my own!"
"Lotus," due out this November on RCA Records, has been positioned as a "rebirth" for the 31-year-old pop star. "Album title: Lotus. Representing an unbreakable flower that survives under the hardest conditions and still thrives," she wrote on Twitter earlier this week.

While Aguilera remains a coach on "The Voice" alongside Cee Lo Green, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine for a third straight season, the singer hinted earlier this week that she is unlikely to return for season four. Producer Mark Burnett has said of the show's coaches, ""Here's the fact we decided: When you've been on this show, that's your chair for life so if they have to tour and someone comes in for a season and then goes out for a season, comes back for a season, there will never be anyone getting replaced, ever.""Lotus" marks Aguilera's first full-length since 2010's "Bionic," w! hich has sold 310,000 copies according to Nielsen SoundScan.
