Britney Spears Jokes She's 'Elated' To Face Off Against Christina Aguilera In Primetime

Britney Spears is about to face off in primetime against former "Mickey Mouse Club" co-star Christina Aguilera when "The Voice" and "The X Factor" both air on Wednesday.

So what does she think about NBC's move to give "The Voice" a three-night premiere, airing Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday -- the very night "The X Factor" premieres its Season 2?

"I'm elated," she continued, sarcastically. "It's really interesting. I do find they're both really interesting shows. I mean, they captivate on the same things. In all honestly, I do feel like they're two totally different shows, you can't really compare the two."

Simon has made no secret of his displeasure with "The Voice," which - much like "The X Factor -- also features four celebrities who coach a team of contestants, having extended their season premiere to three nights, instead of two.

"None of us are happy about it," Simon said. "It is literally what's known as 'spoiling the party.'"
