Christina Aguilera shoots album cover, dyes hair purple

Christina Aguilera has revealed that she shot the cover for her forthcoming album.

The singer posted a photo on Twitter of her wardrobe options for the artwork, which included a tiger print dress.

She said: "Album cover photoshoot day! Music video shoots soon. Getting closer. Thrilled to be back in my "artist mode". Kisses!".

The star also tweeted images of her jewellery for the shoot as well as a new, purple-dyed haircut.

Aguilera tweeted: "A girl needs her options... At the album photoshoot...," before adding: "peek-a-boo, just for u! xx."

It was recently reported that the star's new single may be called 'Easier To Lie' after the track was officially registered online under name.
