Cher hints at Christina Aguilera collaboration for new album

Cher has teased plans to record a duet with Christina Aguilera.

The iconic singer heavily indicated on Twitter that she intends to work with her Burlesque co-star on a new track for her upcoming album.

Asked by a fan if she would work with Aguilera on a song again, Cher responded: "Ummm!!"

Pushed for more of an answer, she continued: "UMMM !!!!!"

Responding to more tweets asking what her cryptic answers meant, she said: "Not say YES not say NO? Say HOPE ! Luv her!"

When a follower then told Cher that she will probably get in trouble for hinting at the collaboration, she replied: "So Right! Hope i didnt fk it up! Xtina's cool! What will b will B!"

She later added: "Sitting here learning song 4 tomm Nite,Thinking Cher u Silly Bitch(usually reserved 4 Kathleen)I got So excited bout Xtina,but its not set."

Cher's 26th studio album is expected to be formally announced by the end of 2012 and will feature a duet with Lady GaGa and a song written by Pink.
