Christina Aguilera is hard at work on a new album.
It has been two years since Christina Aguilera released her last album, Bionic, but it looks like the wait for new music is almost over.
Aguilera, who has been focused on being a judge and mentor on The Voice is back in artist mode.
Just wrapped up another great studio session- WOW- seriously can't WAIT for you guys to hear what I've been working on!!- Love u guys!! the 31-year-old tweeted earlier this month.
Fans may have yet to hear a new song, but with new music in the works, she began shooting the cover art for her new album this week. She gave a sneak peek on Twitter.

It was previously rumored that Christina Aguilera would release a new single this month before summer ends. So far, no new single or any more updates about her new album have been announced. While fans wait for new music, she makes her return to The Voice, which premieres September 10.
