Cher hints at Aguilera collaboration

Cher has revealed in cryptic tweets to her followers that she is working on a song with Christina Aguilera.

The 66-year-old singer hinted at a collaboration last night between the pair, who worked together and have remained close since their roles in the 2010 film Burlesque.

When asked if Aguilera is the 'mystery' collaborator on her next album, Cher responded: "Not say YES not say NO? Say HOPE ! Luv her![sic]" followed by "I got So excited bout [Christina], but its not set" fuelling speculation that the two are in talks to record together.

Both are in the studio at the moment, with Aguilera penning tracks for her next album. Aguilera tweeted this week "Just wrapped up another great studio session- WOW- seriously can't WAIT for you guys to hear what I've been working on!!"

The Voice USA judge and singer is working on the follow-up to her 2011 album Bionic. Cher is currently recording her first album in ten years and has plans to embark on a tour later this year. The singer and actress also hinted earlier this year at a Lady Gaga coll! aboration on her upcoming album.
