Christina Aguilera's Body Quotes In Billboard '100 Percent False'

Christina Aguilera may have talked about her body in the past, but despite a slew of recent headlines, she didn't address her curves in a new interview with Billboard, according to reps for both the mag and the superstar singer.

A rep for Billboard sent Access Hollywood the full text of the new cover story on "The Voice" star and a read of the article revealed no quotes about her figure.

The singer's rep also denied she gave quotes about her body to the publication.

"The quotes are 100% false," Christina's rep told Access on Monday. "She never said them to Billboard and Billboard never printed or posted them. They are fake."

Among the "fake" quotes that were attributed to the singer in the Billboard interview, and picked up by the media, included, "During the promotion of my album 'Stripped,' I got tired of being a skinny, white girl. I am Ecuadorian but people felt so safe passing me off as a skinny, blue-eyed white girl. So the next time my label saw me... I was heavier, darker and full of piericings! [laughter] Let me tell you, that wasn't an easy pill for them to swallow."

Christina may not have addressed her body with Billboard, but she did talk about her respect for manager Irving Azoff, and how he has - over the years - continued to allow her to be herself.

"The thing about Irving that I love to death about him is that when I came to him it was right when I was about to release 'Stripped.' And from day one he's never really told me, 'You have to do this or do that to fit in.' He definitely lets me be my own artist. That is a gift that I've thanked him ! for on album credits before and in person," she told Billboard. "When I was feeling so strangled and weighed down by label opinions or what they wanted me to do, Irving came into my life and held everyone at bay to let me have a minute to myself."
