Christina Aguilera calls out Adam Levine over fragrance hypocrisy
Christina Aguilera. (Charlie Krupa - AP) Christina Aguilera will not let a delicious contradiction by one of her TV colleagues go unnoticed.
The diva turned Voice star put her fellow judge, Maroon 5 rocker Adam Levine, on blast last week, after he announced his own fragrance line.
Aguilera tweeted a link to a message Levine sent out via Twitter last March. He wrote, I also would like to put an official ban on celebrity fragrances. Punishable by death from this point forward.
Aguilera may have taken offense to this, considering that she has her own fragrances.
But now, shes having the last laugh.
Levine will launch 222 by Adam Levine, a scent for men and women that will reflect his personality and style, according to a press release. The line will launch in May 2013.
Aguilera is clearly having fun with Levines change of heart, tweeting, What a difference a year makes. Welcome to the celebrity fragrance family.
