Christina Aguilera: 'Hacker Took My Sense Of Security'
Christina Aguilera has opened up about her ordeal after discovering a hacker gained access to her email account, insisting the "large invasion of privacy" has made her feel vulnerable.
Christopher Chaney, 35, from Florida, accessed Scarlett Johansson's private computer files and leaked nude photos of the actress online, and he also targeted the Beautiful hitmaker and actress Renee Olstead.
He pleaded guilty to nine cyber-related felonies in March (12) and was sentenced to 10 years behind bars on Monday (17Dec12) - and his victims recorded statements to be played out in court.
Johansson claimed she was "truly humiliated and embarrassed" by the leaked naked images and called Chaney's crimes "perverted and reprehensible".
Aguilera declared, "That feeling of security can never be given back and there is no compensation that can restore the feeling one has from such a large invasion of privacy."
Meanwhile, Olstead addressed the court in person and broke down in tears as she said, "I just really hope this doesn't happen to someone else. You can lose everything because of the actions of a stranger."
