Christina Aguilera unveils new ballad 'Blank Page' - listen

Christina Aguilera has debuted a new track online.

The star has unveiled 'Blank Page', which has been lifted from her forthcoming album Lotus.

The track is a ballad co-written by Aguilera with Chris Braide and Sia Furler.

"[It's] a beautiful, vulnerable, amazing ballad that reminds me of the emotional vulnerability yet empowerment feeling that you get from listening to, say, a 'Beautiful' from previous records," Aguilera told Billboard of the track.

"I wrote and recorded a lot on this record that was made to hopefully inspire the next generation of vocalists," she added.

"My experience as a coach on The Voice has really helped me dig deeper to find new inspiration because I almost feel like it's my responsibility to uphold a certain vocal standard."

Aguilera's new album Lotus will be released in the UK on November 12 and a day later in the US.

The collection's lead single 'Your Body' is available to download now.
