Christina Aguilera Admits Regrets In New Ballad 'Blank Page'

One day after she graced the stage during the "Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together" telethon, Christina Aguilera gave fans a "special" preview off her forthcoming album, Lotus, with the moving ballad, "Blank Page."

She tweeted out the song on Saturday, sharing with her fans the poignant track, the second tease off her November 13 album release. The slow jam opens with the chords of a piano as the singer shares, "I know there's hurt/ I know there's pain/ But people change/ Lord, knows I've been no saint/ In my own way/ Regret choices I've made/ How I do I say I'm sorry?/ How do I say I'm sorry?"

The sweeping ballad, which really puts Aguilera's big voice on full display, is her mea culpa to someone whom she hurt. On the chorus, the lyrics are hopeful that she can right any wrongs she may have committed: "Our spirits aligned and we'd never die/ Draw me a smile, and save me tonight/ I'll be your blank page waiting for you to bring me to life/ Paint me a heart, let me be your art/ I am a blank page waiting for life to start/ Let our hearts start and beat as one together/ Let our hearts start and beat as one forever."

No word on if she will perform this track or the album's faster-paced single,
