Christina Aguilera talks possible Justin Bieber collaboration, Twitter buzzes about her weight during AMAs
American Music Awards performer Christina Aguilera just released her newest album Lotus, and she will be taking a break from the next season of The Voice to focus on her music.
Like many others, Aguilera may have caught Bieber Fever, as she talked to Extra on the red carpet of the AMAs and talked about possibly collaborating with the Artist of the Year winner.
Im really into this song right now called, As Long as You Love Me and its Justin Biebers song, so Im actually looking forward to it tonight, she said before the show.
When asked about a collaboration with him, she said Who knows, the possibilities are endless, so well see.
According to Fox News, Aguileras appearance at the awards show on Sunday got the Twitterverse buzzing.
"Carrie Underwood is what Christina Aguilera thinks she looks like right now. And no one has the heart to tell her "NAWL, one Twitter user wrote, with another adding "Did Christina Aguilera eat one of Willy Wonka's blueberries?"
One even wrote, "Christina Aguilera looks like Snooki. No wait, that's an insult to Snooki."
But criticism about her weight does not bother Aguilera, who has said "I've always been one to make it very clear, love me or hate me, take it or leave it, this is who I am.
She added, "I embrace my body, and I embrace everything about myself. Coming full circle is a celebration of freedom and happiness because that's what [my new album] Lotus is representing. I'm embracing everything that I've grown to be and learned to be."
