The Wanted criticizes Christina Aguilera
Singer Christina Aguileras judging work on The Voice didnt endear itself to the band The Wanted when they made an appearance on the show last week.
"She's a total b," band member Tom Parker said in an interview on New York's 92.3 Now. "She just sat there and didn't speak to us. Wouldn't even look at us."
Another member of the band, Max George, called Aguilera scary and rude.
However, a source on the set countered that Aguilera, 31, did nothing to warrant such reactions from the band.
"There was no opportunity for interaction at any point during the show or prior to the show," the source said. "The first time Christina saw them was when she was already seated in her coach's chair and they were performing."
Other artists who were allegedly snubbed by Aguilera on The Voice include Justin Bieber, who appeared on the April 17 show to introduce a teaser for his Boyfriend video. Aguilera reportedly snubbed him when her approached her for a hug.
She replied to accusations that she was a diva by tweeting:
"Haha! The media loves spinning stories... Can't a girl have a little #BieberFever after getting kissed by the Biebs?"
Aguilera also reportedly called contestant Tony Lucca one-dimensional and for using his friend Justin Timberlake to make a popularity contest out of the show. All three previously worked together on The Mickey Mouse Club.
