The Voice contestant Tony Luccas smart surprise performance of Britney Spears Baby One More Time was in direct response to Christina Aguileras previous comments about his ties to former Mickey Mouse Club cast mates and the possible unfair advantage that may give him on the show.

Aguilera had accused Lucca of being one-dimensional, and having a possible leg up because he had the support of former Mouseketeer Justin Timberlake.

So how did the pop diva respond to Luccas performance? She took it in stride, and called for a full-on Mickey Mouse Club reunion so they could "have some good laughs. She invited Spears and Timberlake to join her and Lucca on the stage. She also told Lucca that he had put a fun twist on the pop song by making it his own.

Lucca, who was a part of The Mickey Mouse Club with the stars but was not immediately recognized by Aguilera when he auditioned for The Voice, had hinted to The Hollywood Reporter that he and coach Adam Levine had something special planned in response to Aguileras comments.

As far as whats gone on this past week, were going to have a lot of fun with it, he told THR before Mondays show.

Luccas performance of Spears' debut single was much darker and rocking than the pop hit which was originally released on September 30, 1998.

A dream reunion may have to wait, however, with former Mouseketeer Spears possibly making her way to her own judges chair very soon. As The Hollywood Reporter first reported, Spears could be nearing a deal to become one of the X Factor judges, replacing Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger at the judges table.
