Christina Aguilera to release new single next month

Christina Aguilera is giving us what weve wanted from her: new music, with a new single expected to be released early August.

According to Billboard, the 31-year-old singers new single will be from her upcoming album, the follow-up to 2010s Bionic. The song is produced by Max Martin, the Swedish producer whos been at the helm of hits by Britney Spears and Katy Perry. A source reveals to Billboard that the chorus of the song includes this line, All I want to do is what you wanted.

Since Bionic, the pop star has become known as a judge on NBCs hit talent competition The Voice, which will return for a third season this fall.

MTV News reports that not much is known about the upcoming album, except that Aguilera, backstage at The Voice earlier this year, promised new music by the years end and that it would be amazing.

She will also collaborate with her fellow judges from The Voice, Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green. Thanks to collaborating with fellow judge Adam Levine on Maroon 5s hit Moves Like Jagger last summer, Aguilera proved that her chemistry with her co-judges goes beyond TV.
