Christina Aguilera to release new single in August?

Christina Aguilera is reportedly preparing to release her new single in early August.

The Voice coach is working on the follow-up to 2010's Bionic and plans to unveil the lead single before the end of summer.

The track, described by Billboard as a "club banger", has been produced by Max Martin.

The chorus is said to be built around the line: "All I want to do is what you wanted."

Meanwhile, her album will apparently include duets with her fellow Voice coaches Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton.

She previously collaborated with Green on 'Nasty', as well as with Adam Levine on Maroon 5's 'Moves Like Jagger' - her first US number one in ten years.

Aguilera recently described her upcoming record as "amazing" and "quality not quantity".
