Behind-the-scenes video: Christina Aguilera's Secret Potion

A new behind-the-scenes video from the making of Christina Aguilera's Secret Potion commercial has gone online.

While singers such as Lady Gaga and Madonna will be unveiling their debut fragrances in 2012, pop star Aguilera's fragrance empire is continuing to expand.

The star unveiled her sixth signature scent earlier this year and has now posted a behind-the-scenes video divulging the secrets behind her style in the glamorous commercial.

Matthew Rolston, who has directed commercials for fashion and beauty brands such as Elizabeth Arden, Gap, and Polo Ralph Lauren, worked on the ad, while celebrity stylist Cher Coulter created Aguilera's "glamorous but classic and timeless" aesthetic.

In the video, hair artist David Babaii also explains how he was inspired by the shape of the Secret Potion bottle when coming up with the singer's "achievable" waves.
