Celebrity real estate roundup: Christina Aguilera, Mickey Rooney

LeAnn Rimes and hubby Eddie Cibrian outed by his ex-wife and co-star on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."

Patience Paid for Christina Aguilera

Two years after listing her Beverly Hills home for $13.5 million, the pop songstress and star of The Voice looks like she may have found a buyer. Was it the hot-pink walls in one room or the emerald green ceilings in another that kept prospects low for the 513 Doheny Road home in the exclusive ZIP code of 90210? Was it the fact that Ozzy Osbourne and his wife, Sharon, used to call this place home?

Doesnt seem to matter now for Aguilera. The 6-bedroom, 10-bathroom, 10,000-square-foot home is not going to be on her team much longer, now that a sale is pending. And no, the buyer isnt Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine or Blake Shelton.

Mickey Rooney Keeps Cruising Along

Hollywood legend Mickey Rooney just turned 93 and doesnt appear to be letting anything stop him. In January, Rooney participated in a 5-day voyage on a Celebrity Cruises ship from Miami to Mexico, where fans got to hear the former Hardy Boys actor expound on his 10-decade career.

Now Rooney has made a real estate move by listing his 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom lakefront house in Westlake Village, Calif., for $1.075 million. Rooney and his eighth wife, Jan, sold another home in the area back in 1994 and are likely in need of a cash infusion.

In 2011, the actor and his wife were in court, fighting a case against elder abuse involving Rooneys stepchildren. Rooneys affairs were placed under the care of a conservator and Rooney testified before Congress on elder abuse, saying he was wiped out of $400,000 and was so broke two years ago he could not afford to buy Jan flowers on Valentines Day.

Eddie & LeAnn Go Real Big

It took a real Beverly Hills housewife to out country star LeAnn Rimes and her hu! sband Eddie Cibrian on their real estate purchase. But Brandi Glanville, Cibrians contentious ex-wife and co-star on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, has shown a talent for saying stuff that grabs peoples attention.

In this case, Glanville tweeted that Rimes and Cibrian have a new Hidden Hills mansion, which turns out to be true. What Glanville did not mention is that Rimes and Cibrian scored a great deal, snagging the 8,500-square-foot Spanish-style house built in 2005 for $3 million. The house had been listed for $6.1 million, but the short sale proved a boon to the couple.

Who knows, maybe Cibrian and Rimes will get their own reality TV show now. They have a great new house to serve as the set.
