Steven Tyler botches 'The Star-Spangled Banner': Worst National Anthem ever?

Almost a year after Christina Aguilera botched the National Anthem at last year's Super Bowl, somebody may have done it even worse: Steven Tyler. The 63-year-old "American Idol" judge performed a screechy rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner" at Sunday's AFC Championship game, wearing a sequined scarf in honor of the New England Patriots.

But even though the crowd cheered him on, critics have been pretty tough on the Aerosmith frontm an, with Fox columnist Jason Whitlock tweeting: "Steven Tyler far more obscene than Janet Jackson's t*tty."

While some fans loved Tyler's trademark scream ("I knew 'the scream' was coming!," tweeted country singer Jason Michael Carroll), The Bleacher Report suggested that Tyler wouldn't win a golden ticket to Hollywood on his own show.
